This Payment Policy explains the payment methods accepted on glamevents.shop and how payments, authorisations, and refunds are handled.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other cards supported by Shopify Payments)
• PayPal

Available methods may vary by destination country and are displayed at checkout before you place your order. If a card type is not displayed at checkout, it is not accepted for that transaction.

2. Payment Service Providers

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and PayPal. These providers handle card data and payment authorisation; Glamevents does not directly store full payment card numbers on its servers.

3. Currency

The currency charged is displayed at checkout before you confirm the order. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, which are outside our control.

4. Authorisation and Capture

When you place an order, your payment method is authorised for the order total. Authorisation places a temporary hold on your funds but does not complete the charge. The charge is captured when the order is dispatched or, where applicable, when the order is confirmed. If an order is cancelled before capture, the authorisation is released; release times depend on your bank or card issuer.

5. Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment is declined or fails, the order will not be processed. We may contact you to arrange an alternative payment method. Repeated failed payments may result in the order being cancelled.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refund processing times are described in our Return & Refund Policy (typically 5–10 business days after approval). We do not issue refunds in store credit or via a different payment method unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

7. Surcharges

We do not apply surcharges for using any accepted payment method. The order total displayed at checkout is the amount charged, excluding any fees imposed by your own bank or card issuer.

8. Security

Checkout is protected by SSL encryption. Payment card data is processed by our payment service providers in accordance with PCI DSS standards. Glamevents does not have access to your full card number.
